 HEATHER MULLER BLACK BOX THEATRE SPECIAL EVENT July 27-Aug. 2/Ages: 12 & up Join us for an exciting week as we offer a variety of workshops for young people. The workshops will culminate in a Friday, July 31, 5:00 p.m. performance and presentation by all workshop participants. The week will also include performances of our summer Black Box Theatre production, “The Best of the Black Box”. We will be hosting a silent auction on Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. prior to the “The Best of the Black Box” production. This is our major fund raising event of the year for the Muller Theatre so we hope you will be able to participate in any way possible. WORKSHOPS AVAILABLE: (All workshops held at 201 Lulu. To enroll, call 316-262-2282) MUSIC THEATRE offered by Cara Statham-Serber …Students will perform at Friday’s show and the workshop will be a comprehensive focus on professional music theatre preparation, production, and performance. Participants staying through the lunch hour to participate in another workshop need to bring a sack lunch. Day & Time: Mon. & Tues. 9:00-12:00, Thurs., 9:00-12:00, & Fri. 4:00-5:00 (Participants will stay on Fri. for 5:00pm performance.) Cost: $125.00 for 10 hrs. CHOREOGRAPHY FOR THE STAGE offered by Joice Passos...A multi-level dance workshop that will help prepare the actor for musical theatre auditions and performance. They will also write, film, & edit a short TV commercial & News Story which will be presented at Saturday’s Workshop Presentation. Lunch will be provided. AUDITIONING FOR TELEVISION COMMERCIALS offered by Greg Boaldin…Participants will receive valuable information on preparing for and delivering successful commercial auditions from a professional talent scout who has discovered many performers who have worked on Broadway, appeared in national magazines, worked on top rated TV shows, and appeared in national commercials.
